Moms have so many duties and expectations in any 24 hour period. We get pulled in all directions, often times overworked and over exhausted. One day we look in the mirror and wonder

"What happened?"

How did I get so fluffy? Is that a grey hair? Ugh wrinkles! Why am I always so irritated, depressed, anxious, exhausted and tired? This is not what I thought my life was going to look like. I have no drive, I don't even know what I want out of life anymore!


Why Ayurveda?

Ayurveda, a natural system of medicine, originated in India more than 5,000 years ago. The term Ayurveda is derived from the Sanskrit words ayur (life) and veda (science or knowledge). Ayurveda simply means the knowledge of life. Based on the idea that disease is due to an imbalance or stress in a person's consciousness, Ayurveda encourages certain lifestyle interventions and natural therapies to regain a balance between the body, mind, spirit, and the environment. Ayurveda treatment includes diet, herbal remedies, massage therapy, yoga, and meditation.
