Why Ayurveda?
Ayurveda, a natural system of medicine, originated in India more than 5,000 years ago. The term Ayurveda is derived from the Sanskrit words ayur (life) and veda (science or knowledge). Ayurveda simply means the knowledge of life. Ayurveda bring ones: vrikriti – ( imbalance of doshas or dis-ease in daily life ) back into prakriti – ( balance state of doshas / ease of daily life ) Through diet (Ahara) & lifestyle (Vihara) Ayurveda brings balance. Incorporating proper herbs, spices, foods, routine, breathing, meditation, body movement and treatment therapies one can regain balance in the body, mind and spirit.
Mission
Through Ayurveda and integrative nutrition I have grown to feel free from burdens, expectations and thinking I wasn’t where I thought I should be in life. I truly have found happiness in the chaos and feel happy in my skin.
